02 Day 2: Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 Camp

Trek across Shira Plateau. Spectacular views of Kibo and Shira Cathedral. Reach Shira 2 Camp (3850m). Acclimatization walk. Dinner and overnight.

03 Day 3: Shira 2 Camp to Barranco Camp

Day 3: Shira 2 Camp to Barranco Camp

Trek to Lava Tower (4600m) for acclimatization. Descend to Barranco Camp (3950m). Views of Barranco Wall.

04 Day 4: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp

Climb Barranco Wall. Trek to Karanga Camp (4035m). Rest and acclimatization. Dinner and overnight.

05 Day 5: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp

Trek to Barafu Camp (4640m). Prepare for summit. Early dinner and rest.

06 Day 6: Summit Day to Mweka Gate

Start summit at midnight. Reach Uhuru Peak (5895m). Descend to Mweka Gate. Certificate ceremony. Drive to Moshi/Arusha.
