SWAHILI MUSIC FESTVAL IN ZANZIBAR

SAUTI ZA BUSARA-SOUNDS OF WISDOM
The Sauti za Busara music festival is a six-day cultural extravaganza held annually in Zanzibar in the middle of February.Sauti za Busara music festival has built an enviable reputation, regionally and internationally, for its quality of music, diverse programming, friendliness, warmth and peaceful atmosphere.

RICH AND VIBRANT MIX
A rich and vibrant mix of styles from the Swahili-speaking world is showcased every year, including thirty groups representing traditional ngoma, taarab, kidumbak, muziki wa dansi, hiphop / "bongo flava", mystic and religious music, poetry, comedy and dance.

NON-STOP MUSIC 4PM TO 1AM DAILY
In all, more than four hundred musicians and artists participate in the main festival, with a continuous daily programme of music from 4pm to 1am. Admission for all is free until sunset.
